Our Journey: 1985 - 2025
Our Lady of Lourdes College was conceived by founders Mr. Alfredo D. Demetillo and Dr. Adelia C. Demetillo to serve the educational needs of Valenzuela City and neighboring communities.

Pre-school officially established bearing the name Cherub Learning Center, welcoming the first students.

- Pre-school department established
- Dr. Adelia C. Demetillo as Directress
Elementary education expanded with the opening of Grade School, serving Nursery to Grade III students.

Historic milestone as 20 students became the first graduates of the elementary level.

The High School department produced its first batch of graduates, marking complete basic education offerings.

Armed with faith in divine providence, the Demetillos formally opened the college department, offering four degree programs.

OLLC experienced continuous growth with major infrastructure developments to meet contemporary education demands.

- Medical/Dental Clinic, Guidance Office opened
Institutional administration organized under Dr. Emelita Demetillo-Liwanag as President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Our Legacy
For four decades, Our Lady of Lourdes College has been a cornerstone of education in Valenzuela City. Conceived in 1985 and officially established in 1986 as Cherub Learning Center with just 17 Kinder students, OLLC has grown into a comprehensive educational institution serving students from Pre-K through College.
Through the dedicated leadership of the Demetillo family—Dr. Adelia C. Demetillo (Directress) and Dr. Emelita Demetillo-Liwanag (President)—OLLC has remained committed to its founding mission: providing quality education grounded in Truth, Commitment, and Excellence.
Our thousands of alumni have gone on to successful careers as teachers, accountants, business leaders, engineers, healthcare professionals, and community servants. They carry forward the OLLC legacy in their workplaces, families, and communities.
