Faculty Development Program

June 8 to 10, 2016– Our Lady of Lourdes College conducted a three (3) day Administration and Faculty Development Program. The said program was conducted to improve the teaching force and to build togetherness and camaraderie among the faculty members. It was considered success because both new and old faculty members shared their experiences.
The program was started with the warm welcome of Dr. Enrico C. Demetillo,Vice President for Planning and Development. The program was divided in different sessions and speakers– Dr. Adelia C. Demetillo, the Directress discussed tips on how to become excellent teachers, Mrs. Emelita Valdecantos, College Head/ OIC for Academic Affairs shared the relationship of teacher, students and curriculum, Ms. Ruby Sta. Ines, Guidance Counselor for classroom management, and Mr. Michael Figueroa, Principal for the High School Department imparted the grading system for learners.
The concluding day was facilitated by Mrs. Debbie Y. Grafil as she led everyone in the discussion of challenges of 21st century teacher. The said session was sponsored by Phoenix Publishing House.
